IBA LifeSciences Empty Spin Columns
Empty Spin Columns are ideal for rapid protein purification from small sample volumes. They are provided with inserted frits (mesh size 10 um), screw caps, and snap-off plugs and compatible with conventional 1.5 ml or 2.0 ml reaction tubes. The frit in the lower part of the column ensure that the resin remain in the spin column while sample or buffer flow through rapidly during the centrifugation process. The maximum filling volume is 700 ul. The empty spin columns are offered without resin and purification buffer to facilitate a customer-specific application and experimental design, e.g., if specific buffer conditions are required. For purification of Strep-tagII or Twin-Strep-tag fusion proteins, the combination with Strep-TactinXT 4Flow high capacity resin is recommended.
